Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Consultant with strong expertise in Funds Management (FM) and Project Systems (PS) within an S/4HANA environment. The consultant will work closely with finance, budget, and project control teams to support implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP financial processes. This role requires hands-on functional knowledge and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional expertise in SAP Funds Management (FM) including budget control, availability control, earmarked funds, and integration with SAP FI.

• Support configuration and business processes within SAP Project Systems (PS) including WBS structures, project budgeting, cost collection, and settlement.

• Work within S/4HANA Finance to ensure seamless integration across FM, PS, and FI modules.

• Lead fit-to-standard workshops, perform impact analysis, and gather business and funding requirements.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.

• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data validation, and cutover activities.

• Assist with post-go-live stabilization and production support for FM and PS workstreams.

• Collaborate closely with Finance, Budget, Project Controls, and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills:

• Strong functional experience with SAP Funds Management (FM).

• Hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) including WBS, budgeting, and settlement.

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Finance environments.

• Experience leading fit-to-standard workshops and business requirement sessions.

• Strong knowledge of integration between FM, PS, and FI modules.

• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP Grant Management (GM) including grant lifecycle management and reporting.

• Experience designing FM PS GM integrated solutions for funded or capital projects.

• Public Sector experience, including budget compliance, audit, and reporting requirements.

• Experience with ECC to S/4HANA migration, particularly FM/PS redesign and impact assessment.

• Experience with SAP Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and reporting for budget tracking and project financials.
