Job Summary
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to support development activities for telematics data collection ECUs and radio systems. The role will focus on C++ development, requirements management, debugging, test automation, and SIL/HIL validation within an Agile engineering environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux, C++, ROS2, Python, HIL testing, J1939, Ethernet, Git, and Azure DevOps.
Required Skills
- 2 4 years of relevant embedded software development experience
- Strong programming experience with C++
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with ROS2
- Experience with SIL/HIL testing
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Python scripting
- Knowledge of J1939 datalink communication
- Experience with Ethernet/network communication
- Experience with Git/version control
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with embedded software debugging tools
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global engineering teams
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software using C++
- Support telematics data collection ECUs and radio applications
- Participate in requirements analysis and requirements management
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Perform bug investigation, reproduction, debugging, and resolution
- Execute Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
- Support software integration and validation activities
- Work with J1939 and Ethernet-based communication systems
- Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams
