Role Overview
This position is for an Azure Architect to contribute to the design of an Azure platform and AI infrastructure within an established product operating model. The role involves partnering with architecture, engineering, security, and networking teams to develop, validate, and document reference architectures. This position supports the consistent and repeatable delivery of Azure-based platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design of the Azure platform and AI infrastructure.
Partner with architecture, engineering, security, and networking teams to develop, validate, and document reference architectures.
Support Azure landing zones, DMZ design, service integration, and private AI model access.
Produce architecture artifacts and support design reviews.
Identify cross-domain dependencies to ensure efficient delivery.
Ensure architectural decisions align with enterprise principles for scalable and secure platform delivery.
Required Qualifications
Experience contributing to Azure platform and AI infrastructure architecture within an enterprise product operating model.
History of working with architecture, engineering, security, and networking teams to design, validate, and document reference architectures.
Experience supporting Azure landing zones, DMZ designs, service integration patterns, and shared platform capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to produce clear architecture artifacts and participate in design reviews.
Proven application of enterprise architecture principles to enable scalable, secure, and repeatable Azure platform delivery.
Technical Skills: Microsoft Azure, Cloud Architecture, Visio
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to designing platforms that support private AI model access through Microsoft Foundry, OpenAI, or similar services.
Experience contributing to architecture standards that span networking, security, and integration domains.
Familiarity with documenting reference architectures that support long-term platform scalability, reliability, and reuse.
