Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Java Cloud Developer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale distributed applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microsoft Azure, along with strong experience in API design, cloud security, and data-driven applications within the banking or financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale Java batch and Spring Boot applications on Microsoft Azure
  • Define and govern REST API specifications, ensuring best practices for scalability, security, and versioning
  • Perform data modeling and data mapping, ensuring high-performance database design
  • Optimize and manage databases using SQL Server
  • Implement cloud security using Azure Key Vault, RBAC, and secure configuration practices
  • Enable monitoring, logging, and observability using Azure Application Insights and Azure Monitor
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams; lead technical discussions, demos, and design reviews
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of distributed systems

Required Skills

  • 12 15 years of hands-on experience in Java development
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Key Vault, RBAC)
  • Strong expertise in REST API design and development
  • Solid experience with SQL Server, data modeling, and performance tuning
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture and distributed systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot / Azure Copilot
  • Domain experience in Banking, Credit Cards, or Lending systems
