Job Title: Software Engineer 3 / Senior Software Engineer (GenAI)
Location: Charlotte, NC - Onsite (5 days/week mandatory)
Contract Length: 6 months
Pay Rate: $53 - $57
Top Requirements:4+ years of Software Engineering experience with strong Python and API development skills2+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs and agentic AI frameworksExperience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Kubernetes, or OpenShift) and containerization (Docker/K8s)Plusses:Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)Experience with UiPath, IDP, Alteryx, or enterprise automation toolsKnowledge of LangChain, agentic AI frameworks, and Copilot StudioExperience with vector databases, RAG architectures, and LLM observabilityExperience in financial services or regulated environmentsJob Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI applications
- Build and implement agentic AI solutions using LLMs, APIs, and orchestration frameworks
- Apply prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and structured AI design patterns
- Integrate AI/LLM solutions with enterprise systems and data platforms
- Develop and maintain Python-based services and REST APIs
- Deploy and manage applications using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Collaborate with engineering pods, product teams, and technical leadership
- Troubleshoot complex application and AI model issues and improve system performance
- Implement governance, security, and compliance controls for AI solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in AI engineering
- Leverage tools such as Power Platform, UiPath, and AI copilots for automation initiatives
- Stay current on advancements in AI, LLMs, and agent-based architectures
