Summary

{"description": " Opportunity Overview

The Data Analyst Lead - Customer & Geo Analytics is responsible for proactively identifying impactful opportunities where analytics can inform the business and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions and long term planning. The role serves as a key partner to the Senior Manager - Customer & Geo Analytics and is accountable for executing customer segmentation, geomodeling, DMA/ZIP level analysis, and audience sizing. This position acts as a subject matter expert in Esri based geospatial analytics and integrates geographic intelligence into business problem solving.

Essential Functions
  • Proactively identify opportunities with medium to broad impact where analytics-including segmentation, spatial analysis, and market sizing-can inform the business. Provide actionable insights to support decisions and long term strategy development by performing exploratory analysis, scenario modeling, hypothesis testing, economic modeling, regression, geospatial modeling, and data visualization to identify patterns and insights across ambiguous business problems.
  • Consult with business owners to understand the underlying business problem. Independently identify the appropriate analytic approach-such as segmentation, DMA/ZIP analysis, or geo modeling-to solve the problem. Lead others through analytic techniques while using systems thinking to connect work to broader strategic initiatives.
  • Merge, cleanse, and transform complex data from multiple sources as needed for analysis. Develop advanced data structures and logic to support segmentation modeling, spatial datasets, and geo enabled analysis.
  • Understand and apply intermediate to advanced statistical and geospatial concepts, including clustering, market opportunity sizing, spatial regression, territory mapping, and demographic enrichment.
  • Apply critical thinking to pressure test and validate logic, geospatial outputs, and segmentation results against known sources and business context. Proactively identify data quality issues-particularly within geographic or boundary based datasets-and collaborate with subject matter experts to identify solutions.
  • Lead the team in generating insights and integrating them into a cohesive story that clearly addresses business questions and influences decision making. Effectively guide the creation and communication of tailored messages to senior leaders regarding analytic approaches, geographic insights, customer segmentation findings, and recommended actions.
  • Serve as a technical and functional data subject-matter expert across diverse areas, including customer, market, branch, field, product, and marketing datasets. Act as the geospatial analytics SME, including Esri tools, spatial data flows, and geographic hierarchy management.
  • Educate senior and executive leaders on analytical concepts and best practices, including customer segmentation frameworks, geospatial analytics methods, and interpretation of location-based insights.
  • Consult on data and analytic requirements for database development and system changes, ensuring appropriate support for spatial data, segmentation logic, and geography-driven reporting.
  • Actively participate in industry and trade data and analytics communities to bring innovative practices, emerging geospatial capabilities, and fresh ideas to the organization.
