Job Overview:

At LPL Financial we consider it our mission to take care of our advisors so they can take care of their client. Joining as a AVP Technology, Prospect and Client Management team, which is within the Technology business unit, you will be responsible for planning, directing projects to help design, build and maintain the sustainable, scalable capabilities that support delivery of the highest standards of software products, processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and participate in activities which drive the design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
  • Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to translate business problem statements into technical solutions, then help to plan Sprints that deliver quality demonstrations.
  • Assist in technical assessment of risks and issues, and document recommendations
  • Coordinate solution design with leaders from Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, and Business to optimize speed to market and achieve prioritized business outcomes.
  • Once production build commences, coach the team in developing appropriate technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product support

Requirements:
  • 5+ Years of demonstrated development tech/team leadership
  • 10+ years of experience working with C# and related Microsoft tech stack.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and building distributed and disconnected enterprise systems.
  • 5+ years of experience of In depth hands-on knowledge on working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • 3+ experience in working with cloud services like Amazon Elastic Kubernetes, S3, API gateway

Core Competencies:
  • Excellent knowledge in designing backend systems using micro services.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent Communication and Coaching skills with demonstrated capacity to build consensus and empower developers to achieve independently.
  • Capable of effectively planning, prioritizing and executing tasks utilizing resources and tools
  • Experienced in software development using Microsoft .Net and AWS services.

Preferences:
  • Hands on experience using Confluent Kafka.
  • Hands on experience using OpenSearch and Redis.
  • AI/ML developer certified.

Pay Range:
$140,500.00 - $234,100.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
