Salary StatementEstimated Starting Salary Range: USD $111,100.00/Yr. - USD $185,100.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Description- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining application software that supports DoD mission systems
- Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, write clean, secure code, and integrate software components with hardware platforms
FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING#LI-TF1
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical discipline (ABET/CAE) or associate's degree with four years of experience or six years of experience
- Active DoD Top Secret (or higher)
- Three or more productive years in software development (CSWF Intermediate)
Desired Skills- Proficiency in one or more languages (C/C++, Java, Python, or C#) and modern development frameworks
- Experience with version-control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of secure-coding practices (OWASP, NIST 800-53) and ability to perform static/dynamic code analysis
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Experience integrating software with hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet)
- Ability to produce technical design documents, unit-test plans, and user manuals
- Preferred certifications are CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, or any DoD-approved baseline
Clearance InformationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITYTravel Requirements- Domestic travel up to 10% of the year ( 2 weeks)
- International travel less than 5% of the year, only when required for overseas coordination and clearance approval
