Position: Product Engineer Powertrain - 331726
Work Model: Hybrid Dearborn MI 4 days per week onsite Interview: Customer may require in-person interview Onsite Requirement: Candidates must be onsite from Day 1.

Position Overview

The Product Engineer Powertrain will support aftertreatment hardware testing, emissions validation, calibration development, and data analysis for advanced low-emission powertrain technologies. This role will work across vehicle, powertrain dynamometer, and engine dynamometer testing at internal facilities and external vendor locations to validate emissions performance against current and future standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in emissions and emissions testing.
  • 3+ years demonstrating fundamental understanding of internal combustion engine operation.
  • Strong understanding of emissions regulations, certification processes, and emissions-reduction technologies.
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to resolve complex engineering issues.
  • Strong leadership skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong project planning and project management experience.
  • Experience managing large, complex engineering projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead group projects, issue resolution activities, and management reviews.
