Description
We are looking for a talented User Experience (UX) Writer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, researchers, and developers to craft compelling and user-friendly content that enhances the overall user experience. Responsibilities:
Develop concise and user-friendly content for various digital platforms, ensuring alignment with UX best practices.
Collaborate with UX designers and researchers to create user scenarios, journey maps, and content strategies.
Conduct qualitative research to understand user needs and preferences, translating insights into actionable content recommendations.
Evaluate and refine content through user testing to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
Create and maintain content guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all user touchpoints.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure content supports overall product goals and enhances usability.
Review and edit existing content to optimize user experience and meet project objectives.
Analyze feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously improve content quality.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative practices into content development.
Requirements
Proven experience in UX writing or related roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-focused content.
Familiarity with user testing methodologies and qualitative research techniques.
Ability to craft user scenarios and journey maps to inform content strategies.
Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in tools and software used in UX and content creation.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of financial services industry is a plus, but not required.
