We are seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Program Director to bridge technology vision with clinical execution.


In this high-visibility leadership role, you will lead enterprise innovation, direct the HIMSS INFRAM (Infrastructure Adoption Model) strategy, and build 5-year technology roadmaps that directly enhance patient care, operational throughput, and value-based care objectives. You will also serve as a key advisor and deputy to executive leadership.

Position Overview Serving under the direction of the Assistant Vice President, the Infrastructure Delivery Program Director bridges strategic technology vision with operational execution. This role drives enterprise innovation, oversees the HIMSS INFRAM (Infrastructure Adoption Model) framework, and translates organizational priorities into actionable, 5-year technology roadmaps to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and value-based care objectives.


Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Technology Innovation

  • Bridge the strategic gap between core infrastructure, clinical devices, and applications to reduce site-level operational friction.
  • Lead enterprise innovation initiatives by driving the adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML).
  • Facilitate executive discovery sessions to align technical capabilities with clinical operation values.
  • Partner with leadership to continuously update the 5-year technology roadmap amid rapid industry changes.
2. HIMSS INFRAM Assessment & Roadmap Execution
  • Serve as the HIMSS expert to lead full, enterprise-wide INFRAM (Infrastructure Adoption Model) assessments.
  • Collect data, interview key personnel, analyze systems, and present technical evaluations to leadership at all levels.
  • Direct and manage technological programs as outlined in the 5-year plan derived from INFRAM findings.
3. Governance, Metrics & Performance Tracking
  • Establish and manage governance frameworks linking infrastructure performance and system integrations directly to measurable improvements in patient care and throughput.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and ROI frameworks for performance, budgeting, and root-cause analysis of service disruptions.
  • Build dynamic storyboards and real-time dashboards to communicate program progress and identify gaps.
4. Enterprise Knowledge & Collaboration
  • Centralize institutional knowledge, lead steering committees for standard-setting, and deliver targeted training for technology adoption across clinical sites.
  • Represent the Division and Assistant Vice President in interactions with City, Regional, State, and Federal agencies.
  • Act as an inter-departmental liaison to deliver specialized technical services.
  • Serve as Deputy to the Assistant Vice President, assuming full operational authority in their absence within delegated areas.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Option 1: Master's degree from an accredited college or university (in Healthcare Administration, Health Care Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field) AND seven (7) years of progressively responsible administrative/managerial experience.
  • Option 2: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND eight (8) years of progressively responsible administrative/managerial experience.
  • Option 3: A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
