Senior .NET Developer

Role Type: Contract

Work Arrangement: 100% On-site

Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (Dauphin County)

Interview Mode: In-person or via Webcam

Full-Stack Development: Design and program user interfaces, business logic layers, database layers, and reporting components using the Microsoft stack.

Accessibility Compliance: Utilize expert knowledge of HTML and CSS to ensure software functionality meets strict accessibility standards.

Lead Development: Analyze user requirements, propose technical solutions, and lead the development lifecycle for complex projects.

Database Architecture: Propose database designs for DBA approval and assist with data migration from legacy systems.

DevOps & Testing: Use Azure DevOps for source control, work item management, and testing documentation. Perform rigorous unit and regression testing to ensure bug-free deployments.

Knowledge Transfer: Mentor junior IT staff and present complex technical constructs to non-technical stakeholders clearly.

VB.NET & ASP.NET: 5+ years of professional experience building web applications.

Frontend Technologies: 5+ years of experience in JavaScript, XML, and HTML/CSS with a focus on web accessibility.

Data & Reporting: 5+ years of experience with SQL Server database design and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Development Tools: Expert-level proficiency with the Visual Studio development platform.

ALM Tools: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for versioning and project management.

Estimation: Ability to accurately estimate development timeframes based on functional requirements.

On-site Requirement: This position is strictly on-site in Dauphin County.

Equipment Policy: Strictly prohibited to take or use government equipment outside of the United States.

Standards: Must follow established coding and database standards to maintain system integrity.
