Project Superintendent - Perimeter & Physical Security Construction

Location: 100% Travel (Southeast & Nationwide)
Schedule: 26 Days On / Long Weekend Off

Position Overview

A rapidly growing perimeter and physical security solutions provider is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to serve as the primary on-site leader for high-impact construction projects. This individual will oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, manage site logistics, and act as the key point of contact for customers and internal project teams.
This role is designed for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced construction environments and is motivated to grow into higher-level leadership roles as the organization continues to expand nationwide.

Travel & Schedule

  • 100% travel required
  • Rotation schedule: 26 days on site followed by a long weekend off
  • Typical schedule: Monday-Saturday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Company-paid hotel, travel, meals, and job-related expenses
  • Strong emphasis on employee support and well-being while on assignment

Daily Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct daily crew safety meetings
  • Serve as the primary on-site representative to customers and stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and on-site trades
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure project milestones and customer delivery
  • Review, overlay, and interpret construction drawings (Bluebeam/CAD)
  • Read grades and cuts in the field
  • Manage materials, equipment, and supplies to forecast upcoming work
  • Oversee documentation, reporting, and site-level administration

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5-10 years of construction leadership experience
  • 5-10 years of construction software experience (Bluebeam, CAD required)
  • Proven experience leading construction projects and job sites
  • Strong background working with multiple trades and subcontractors
  • Demonstrated ability in subcontractor control and conflict resolution
  • High level of professionalism and customer-facing communication

Certifications (Required)

  • Active OSHA 30 Certification
  • Heavy Equipment Certification (any applicable type)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Physical or perimeter security project experience
  • Project scheduling and budgeting experience
  • PMP / PMI certification
  • Additional construction or safety certifications

  • Forward-thinking and highly detail-oriented
  • Exceptionally clear and thorough communication skills
  • Ability to lead by example in demanding environments

Work Environment

  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of active construction sites
  • Work performed in all weather conditions
  • Projects often located in high-security and high-visibility environments (e.g., data centers, government facilities, stadiums, and major infrastructure sites)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
