OverviewClient is seeking a
SeniorInfrastructure Advisor specializing in enterprise monitoring and infrastructure strategy.
This role focuses on assessing current-state environments, optimizing monitoring capabilities, and
driving operational maturity across complex IT ecosystems.
This is a
strategy and advisory-driven role, not focused on day-to-day tool administration. The
emphasis is on
assessment, optimization, and driving long-term monitoring maturity across the organization.
The ideal candidate will bring a consulting mindset, broad infrastructure expertise, and the ability to translate technical insights into clear business value for both engineering teams and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Assess existing monitoring tools, platforms, and infrastructure environments to identify gaps, overlaps, and optimization opportunities
- Develop and recommend strategies to improve monitoring effectiveness, scalability, and overall infrastructure performance
- Provide best-practice guidance aligned with industry frameworks such as ITIL and SRE
- Drive improvements in operational maturity and monitoring standards across the organization
- Evaluate current tool utilization and recommend enhancements to maximize ROI and efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between infrastructure, networking, and application layers
- Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and value propositions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience- Enterprise Monitoring & Infrastructure Strategy:
- Broad expertise across monitoring tools, data centers, networking, and IT infrastructure with a focus on assessment and optimization

- Proven ability to deliver strategic recommendations and clearly articulate technical value and ROI to diverse audiences
- Operational Maturity & Optimization:
- Experience evaluating monitoring effectiveness, identifying gaps, and driving improvements aligned to best practices
- Tool Evaluation & Optimization:
- Ability to assess existing platforms, reduce redundancy, and maximize tool utilization
- Cross-Domain Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of how infrastructure, networks, and applications interconnect in complex environments
- Executive Communication:
- Ability to translate technical insights into actionable business recommendations for leadership
Nice to Have- Experience with large-scale enterprise environments
- Background in consulting or advisory roles

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80.00 - $110.00/hr.
