Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in New York, NY that is seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate Engineer.

Overview:
The Oracle GoldenGate Engineer will support and optimize real-time data replication within a large-scale healthcare analytics environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Oracle GoldenGate Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines that enable near real-time movement of critical business data between enterprise systems and operational data platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support. They will work closely with database administrators, ETL developers, and data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and seamless integration across complex data environments. Responsibilities include managing replication processes, supporting upgrades and enhancements, resolving data replication issues, maintaining operational documentation, and contributing to cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
* 5-8 years of Oracle GoldenGate experience in production environments, including Extract, Data Pump, Replicat, and Manager
* Strong expertise in CDC, Oracle database administration, SQL, performance tuning, and replication support
* Experience managing large-scale, high-volume replication environments (500+ tables, multi-source replication)
* Proficiency with GoldenGate tuning, conflict resolution, DDL replication, and replication validation
* Experience with Oracle and/or DB2 databases, ETL tools (such as DataStage), and production support environments
* Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools such as ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in a related field preferred
* Oracle GoldenGate certification (21c/23c or equivalent)
* Experience with GoldenGate Microservices Architecture and cloud-based replication solutions (AWS, DMS, Redshift, S3, Aurora)
* Knowledge of Kafka, Veridata, high-availability architectures, Oracle RAC, and DB2 replication targets
* Healthcare industry experience with understanding of HIPAA/HITRUST requirements
* Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD practices, and automation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
