Role Summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Material Flow & Operations Transformation Lead to stabilize and standardize endtoend material flow across inbound logistics, warehousing, production supply, and shipping.

This role is process and executionfocused, ensuring strong operational discipline and ownership before deploying enabling technologies such as RF scanning, labelling, or automation. The role partners closely with Plant Leadership, PC&L, and SAP / OneSAP IT teams to deliver sustainable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead endtoend material flow improvements across receiving, warehousing, internal movements, line supply, production reporting, and shipping
  • Stabilize and standardize core processes; eliminate workarounds and execution variability
  • Identify and resolve a small number of highimpact material flow pain points ended
  • Develop and execute a practical improvement roadmap with clear sequencing and ownership
  • Drive shopfloor execution discipline, accountability, and change adoption
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and rolebased training
  • Ensure improvements are embedded into daily operations and sustained

SAP / IT Coordination

  • Act as the business process lead interfacing with SAP / OneSAP IT teams
  • Translate operational requirements into clear SAP, RF, labeling, and integration needs
  • Partner with IT BRMs, SAP functional teams, and vendors to ensure systems support standardized processes
  • Participate in solution design, validation, and readiness reviews

Required Experience

  • Strong background in manufacturing operations, supply chain execution, warehouse operations, or material flow
  • Proven experience stabilizing live plant operations and leading crossfunctional change
  • Handson experience in SAPenabled manufacturing environments (processfocused)
  • Ability to work effectively between Operations, PC&L, and IT
  • Strong documentation, training, and changing leadership skills
  • Must be onsite during critical phases

Preferred

  • ASN / EDI, RF scanning, labeling, or warehouse execution experience
  • Automotive or highvolume manufacturing experience
  • Experience preparing plants for automation after process stabilization
