Ansible for RHEL Senior Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Raleigh, NC that is seeking an experienced Ansible for RHEL Senior Consultant to help automate and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) infrastructure operations.

Summary:
This role will focus on developing Ansible automation for server provisioning, configuration management, patching, decommissioning activities, and operational workflows across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in RHEL administration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and large-scale automation initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Advanced experience with Ansible Automation Platform
* Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and engineering experience
* Infrastructure automation and configuration management
* Playbook, role, and workflow development
* Server build and provisioning automation
* Patch management and system lifecycle automation
* Linux scripting (Bash, Python, Shell)
* Git/version control experience
* Troubleshooting complex Linux environments
* Experience operating in large enterprise environments
* Knowledge of security and compliance best practices
* Excellent documentation and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
