Neos is Seeking a Sr. Laserfiche Platform Engineer/Admin. for a contract role with our client in Austin, TX.
***HYBRID - ONLY CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE AUSTIN, TX AREA (within 50 miles) WILL BE CONSIDERED***
This position requires (2) days per week working onsite in Austin, Texas, and three (3) days per week working remotely, subject to agency policies, operational needs, and supervisor approval. The hybrid work schedule may be modified or discontinued at the discretion the client.

Job Description
The Candidate will provide professional engineering services to upgrade and modernize THECB's Laserfiche Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform, including server infrastructure, application software, and supporting components, to ensure continued supportability, enhanced security, and improved performance for both internal and external users.
The contractor will assess the existing Laserfiche environment, infrastructure, integrations, and custom solutions to develop an upgrade and migration strategy, and will plan, install, configure, and validate upgrades to Laserfiche servers, repositories, web components, workflow services, and associated application modules. The contractor will upgrade and optimize underlying infrastructure, including operating systems, application servers, databases, storage, and supporting services required for the Laserfiche platform, and will configure and test secure access for internal staff, business partners, and external users while maintaining compliance with organizational security standards.
The contractor will review, remediate, and revalidate existing Laserfiche workflows, business processes, and automated document routing functions to ensure compatibility with the upgraded platform, and will modify and enhance custom scripts, forms, templates, metadata structures, repository configurations, and integrations as required to support business operations and version compatibility. The contractor will implement workflow automation improvements that streamline document intake, review, approval, records retention, and business process management activities, and will support integration with enterprise systems, including identity management, authentication services, email systems, and line-of-business applications.
The contractor will conduct system testing, performance validation, user acceptance support, and issue resolution to ensure successful deployment; develop technical documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures for ongoing platform administration and support; provide knowledge transfer and administrative guidance to internal support teams; and support production deployment, post-upgrade stabilization, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
The Senior Laserfiche Platform Engineer will perform highly advanced (senior-level) computer systems architecture, design, and analysis work within the Operations team of THECB's Information Technology Services division. The Candidate must work effectively in a cross-functional team environment focused primarily on supporting and enhancing the agency's ECM platform, and will work under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This position reports to the Director of Technology Operations and Support (TOS).
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
8 years - Required - Senior-level experience administering, implementing, or supporting document management, records management, and workflow automation platforms.
8 years - Required - Experience supporting both internal and external user access requirements.
5 years - Required - Skill in building, developing, and troubleshooting workflow automations
5 years - Required - Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
5 years - Required - Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
5 years - Required - Experience planning and executing Laserfiche server and application upgrades.
5 years - Required - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments and IIS.
3 years - Required - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
