Mainframe Developer

Hourly rate is $65 to $75 per hour Overview: Seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to support and enhance financial applications running in an IBM VSE/ESA environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in COBOL, CICS, MQ-Series, VSAM, and related tools, and will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and designing programs and utilities to support business needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and utilities within the IBM VSE/ESA environment

Qualifications: The candidate should have at least 7+ years of experience performing design, technical analysis and construction of quality COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL and CICS solutions. Knowledge of MQ is a plus.The candidate should have at least 7+ years of work history in application development, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth ManagementThe applicant should have experience in a structured SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process; Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Product
