Position Summary
Best-in-class provider of customized vibration, motion management and control feedback solutions serving primarily aerospace, defense, and industrial end-markets. We are currently seeking a talented Industrial Controls Engineer to join our NVH team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional quality and performance.
As an Industrial Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the supporting the development, sustaining, and troubleshooting of industrial controls and electrical systems critical to our manufacturing process at multiple locations in close collaboration with other teams.
Collaboration is a key function of the role, primarily working with manufacturing team members, IT, engineering, operations, and outside vendors to maintain existing equipment and implement new solutions for our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
- Promoting a Safety-First workplace, encouraging the identification and closure of opportunities for safety improvements.
- Successfully manage and implement multiple projects simultaneously.
- Drive and embrace collaboration and partnership with Operations, IT, Manufacturing and Product design team members.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations team members to define requirements and specifications for new and existing equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT to commission new equipment.
- Stay up to date with advancements in automation technologies and NVH manufacturing methodologies to keep pace with industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Ability to learn how to design, modify, program, and troubleshoot Process Control System hardware and software including PLCs and HMIs.
- Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.
- Proficiency in programming languages to support equipment.
- Experience with automation tools, equipment, and software (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric).
- Knowledge of SCADA tools such as Ignition
- Understanding of electrical schematics, control wiring, and instrumentation
- Experience and understanding of fundamental manufacturing methods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and contribute to a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time, within Continental US to support multiple NVH Division Plants
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (i.e. Industrial Presses, Industrial Ovens, Industrial Mixers, etc.).
- Experience with Industrial IoT
