EWM Consultant

Introduction

The EWM Consultant will be responsible for providing expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and playing a key role in Oracle to SAP S/4 HANA Migration and S/4 upgrades. The individual will be expected to have hands-on experience in SAP Logistics execution and be able to configure SAP EWM processes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead EWM implementation projects and provide expert guidance in warehouse structure design and configuration.
• Manage warehouse tasks, orders, wave management, and queue determination effectively.
• Integrate EWM with MM/IM, SD/LE, PP, QM modules and resolve cross-module issues as needed.
• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and cutover activities.
• Provide support during go-live and hypercare phases, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruptions.
• Utilize debugging knowledge to analyze EWM logs, queues, PPF actions, and IDocs for issue resolution.
• Implement advanced EWM functions such as slotting & rearrangement, labor management, yard management, VAS, and cross-docking.
• Collaborate with teams for EWM-TM integration, automation/MFS implementation, barcode printing, scanners, ASRS, and 3PL system integrations.
• Optimize user experience by leveraging Fiori apps for warehouse operations.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 12 years of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) experience with at least 2 EWM implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Logistics execution and product supply chain projects.
• Strong understanding of warehouse structure design, warehouse tasks, and orders management.
• Experience in RF framework setup, RF menu configuration, and mobile transaction execution.
• Integration knowledge with MM/IM, SD/LE, PP, QM modules for seamless operations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in S/4HANA Embedded EWM and knowledge of EWM-TM integration.
• Familiarity with advanced EWM functions like slotting & rearrangement, labor management, and yard management.
• Exposure to automation/MFS, barcode printing, scanners, ASRS, or 3PL system integrations.
• Proficiency in using Fiori apps for warehouse operations and user experience optimization.
