Genesis10 is seeking a Mainframe Developer - Hogan. This is a hybrid 3-month contract to hire position with a client located in Columbus, OH. This role pays $60.00 - 75.00/HR W2 based on experience. Description: We are seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to support development and maintenance efforts within our core banking deposits environment. This role will focus on mainframe-based applications supporting deposit products and will require strong technical expertise in Hogan Deposits.
Responsibilities: - Support development, enhancement, and maintenance of deposit-related applications
- Work within Hogan Deposits to troubleshoot issues and implement technical solutions
- Develop and maintain programs using Mainframe COBOL and JCL
- Assist with production support, testing, and implementation activities
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to support banking deposit products including IRAs, CDs, and retirement accounts
- Participate in system analysis, documentation, and ongoing support efforts
Requirements: - 3 years of experience working within the Hogan Banking System (Hogan Deposits required)
- Strong experience with Mainframe COBOL
- Experience writing and maintaining JCL
- Hands-on experience supporting Banking Deposit products (e.g., IRAs, CDs, retirement accounts)
- Experience in a mainframe development and support environment
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience in financial services or banking environments
- Understanding of deposit systems and account lifecycle management
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
