The Oracle EPM Cloud Workforce Planning Solution Consultant will design and build a comprehensive Workforce Planning solution within the Oracle EPM Cloud platform. This role focuses on designing the application from the ground up-covering data models, business rules, calculations, dashboards, and integrations-to support headcount planning, compensation forecasting, and workforce analytics.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud (particularly Workforce Planning and custom modules) and a strong understanding of HR and workforce processes.
Responsibilities:
Design and build the Workforce Planning application within Oracle EPM Cloud (Workforce module or custom Planning cube)
Architect the data model, including workforce hierarchies, and role based and salary grade planning components
If Necessary, Develop Groovy rules, calculation scripts, business rules, and driver based models aligned with HR and Finance planning needs
Lead the design and implementation of data integrations using Oracle EPM Cloud tools:
o Data Integration / Data Management
o EPM Integration Agent
o File based data loads and automated pipelines
Build integration flows for role-based data, compensation elements, salary grades, and organizational structures
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle EPM Cloud design components
Create data validation rules, reconciliation processes, and automated data quality checks within Data Integration
Develop scenario modeling capabilities (e.g., hiring plans, turnover assumptions, merit increases, bonus modeling, labor cost simulations, transfers)
Build dashboards, forms, and reporting artifacts using Oracle EPM Cloud
Lead UAT cycles, solution walkthroughs, and iterative design sessions with business stakeholders
Produce documentation, design specs, and training materials for end users and technical teams
Qualifications:
4-10 years of experience implementing Oracle EPM Cloud solutions, with at least 2-3 years focused on Workforce Planning
Hands on experience building applications using: a. Oracle EPM Cloud Workforce Planning b. Custom Planning modules c. Groovy scripting d. Data Integration / Data Management
Strong understanding of Workforce Planning processes, including headcount planning, position management, compensation structures, and labor cost modeling
Experience integrating Oracle EPM Cloud with HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM
Ability to design scalable, maintainable Oracle EPM Cloud architectures
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across HR, Finance, and IT
Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud data models
Background in HR analytics, compensation planning, and/or financial planning.
