Job Description

We are seeking a Firewall Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in AWS security and Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing firewall and network security solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and manage firewall solutions across AWS environments
Implement and maintain AWS WAF rules and policies
Monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
Perform firewall rule reviews and optimization
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams
Support incident response and vulnerability remediation

Required Skills

Strong experience with Firewall technologies
Hands-on experience with AWS security services
Expertise in AWS WAF
Knowledge of network security principles and protocols
Experience with security monitoring and threat analysis

Nice to Have

AWS Security certifications
Experience with SIEM tools
Knowledge of Zero Trust or cloud security architectures
