Genesis10 is currently seeking an Informatica ETL Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role requires demonstrated technical and analytical skill in developing complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. The ideal candidate will create data mappings to ingest data from various sources, develop Unix scripting, and work with MuleSoft tools. This position requires the ability to work independently, coordinate with a distributed team, and provide regular status updates to management.
Responsibilities: - Develop complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter
- Create data mappings to ingest data from disparate data sources such as flat files, RDMS, Hive or REST APIs
- Develop Unix scripting
- Work independently with minimum supervision
- Develop test cases and perform unit testing
- Interact and coordinate with a distributed team
- Provide regular task status updates to management
Requirements: - Technically strong in Informatica Power Center
- Technically strong in performance tuning of targets, sources, mappings and SQL queries
- Strong conceptual knowledge of PL/SQL, Functions, writing complex SQLs, and creating/exposing views/materialized views
- Strong in UNIX commands and Scripting
- Good in MuleSoft Integration
Desired skills: - Experience with source control repositories (SVN/BitBucket) and continuous build integration tools (IBM UBuild/Jenkins, IBM UDeploy/Ansible)
- Expert in PL/SQL programming and Database design, with strong data analysis skills
- Self-managed and proactive communicator
- Experience with Unix scripts and Autosys
- Previous experience working in a data warehouse project
- Python programming
- Tableau/reporting experience
- Experience in working with Mulesoft and other API technologies
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
