They are building its own warehouse management system for a parts distribution center. In a one-week innovation sprint, an internal team used Claude-driven agentic development to build a working foundation on live data: a native Android app on Zebra handhelds, a web control tower, and a shared API on Databricks Lakebase integrated with our ERP. We are seeking a senior contractor to take that codebase to production, directed by the Director who led the sprint and working directly with warehouse operators and business owners.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Take an existing TypeScript monorepo from sprint foundation to a production system, extending and hardening the code the internal team built.
• Build warehouse capabilities defined in our business requirements, including labels, license plating (LPN), inventory states and holds, lot control and FIFO, cycle counting, and packing and shipping workflows.
• Extend deterministic, auditable ERP write-backs (receipts, pick and ship confirms, adjustments) through Infor ION to Infor LX.
• Stand up production-grade CI/CD, test automation, environments, monitoring and Entra ID sign-in alongside Infrastructure and Security teams.
• Run agentic development day to day: requirements-as-context, sub-agent orchestration, self-verifying build and test loops, and rigorous review of AI-generated code.
• Spend time on the warehouse floor, putting builds in operators’ hands and turning feedback into shipped changes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Agentic development with Claude: hands-on, production use of Claude Code (or equivalent), including CLAUDE.md structure, sub-agents, and autonomous test-and-fix loops. Candidates should be able to show real examples.
• TypeScript and Node.js: 5+ years building production APIs; experience with Hono or similar lightweight frameworks and Turborepo-style monorepos with shared types.
• Databricks: Lakebase (managed Postgres) or strong Postgres, Databricks Apps, lakehouse tables and views, and change-data-capture style sync patterns.
• Mobile and web: React Native (Expo) compiled to native Android, plus React for web front ends.
• Engineering discipline: automated testing, CI/CD, event-sourced or append-only audit designs, and working within security and change-control processes, Azure hosting and controls.

STRONGLY PREFERRED

• Warehouse management, distribution or manufacturing systems experience (receiving, putaway, picking, inventory control).
• Infor ION, Infor LX/BPCS or other IBM i (AS/400) ERP integration experience.
• Zebra Android devices, hardware barcode scanning, Microsoft Intune and Entra ID shared-device sign-in.
• Offline-capable mobile design, Sentry or similar observability, and experience in SOX-controlled environments.
