Job Summary:

Designs, builds and implements and supports system health plan software and related processes. Works with system project and support teams to ensure appropriate development, training, implementation, support and evaluation of application functionality.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
  • Three years' health plan claims or information systems experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:
  • Analyzes and reviews data requirements for internal use, as well as for outside vendors to ensure data requirements are met.
  • Provides technical support for Benefits Administration-specific applications.
  • Works with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files. Analyzes file structure, using and creating file layouts and transforming raw data into finished products.
  • Prepares health plan reports. Creates trending and management reports as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
