Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Hybrid. Onsite Monday-Thursdays and can work remotely from home on Fridays)
Role Overview
The work is focused on the research and development of products from conception to retail. This role involves collaboration with Marketing and Design teams to interpret design concepts into two-dimensional patterns. The position requires consulting with the product triad to clarify concepts and provide technical expertise in pattern-making and fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Marketing and Design to translate design concepts into 2-dimensional patterns.
- Consult with the product team to clarify concepts and offer expertise in pattern-making and fit.
- Create initial models from concept pictures.
- Incorporate styling and fit changes determined during fit sessions or the design process.
- Inspect and provide critiques on samples.
- Create and revise product specifications with detailed construction information for production.
- Ensure specifications detail construction methods that optimize profitability.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5+ years of directly relevant work experience is typically required.
