Summary
Intune/Purview Engineer
Introduction:
This role involves leading security, compliance, device management, and governance migration into the target tenant. The Engineer will be responsible for inventorying, recreating, and validating Microsoft Purview policies and Intune device endpoint configurations.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and document source Intune policies, conditional access rules, baseline GPOs, and Purview compliance settings.
- Recreate and consolidate security/compliance policies (data loss prevention, retention, dynamic groups) in the target Purview environment.
- Prepare and configure Intune/Endpoint Manager for target device readiness, domain-join transitions (Hybrid Azure AD Join / Azure AD Join), and device onboarding.
- Perform end-to-end validation of device onboarding, policy enforcement, conditional access, and policy functionality in the target tenant.
- Provide post-migration support for device enrollment, security policies, and knowledge transfer to internal TDLR administrators.
Requirements:

Preferred Skills: Experience working for a state agency, especially the state of Texas.
