Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IBM Workload Automation (IWA) Specialist for an IBM project, focused on distributed systems (non-mainframe). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing, configuring, and managing workload schedules using IBM Workload Automation (formerly HCL Workload Automation), particularly in version 10.2.x environments. This role also involves participation in large-scale migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain job schedules and job streams using IBM Workload Automation (Distributed).
Configure jobs, workflows, dependencies, and calendars based on business requirements.
Perform functional and system testing of job schedules to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Work extensively on IBM Workload Automation (IWA) version 10.2.x.
Support and execute large-scale migration activities from legacy or existing schedulers to IWA.
Monitor job execution, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with IBM stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of scheduling processes, configurations, and migration steps.

Required Skills & Experience:
Hands-on experience with IBM Workload Automation (Distributed Systems).
Strong expertise in job scheduling, job stream creation, and dependency management.
Experience in configuring and testing jobs in IWA environments.
Proven experience working with IWA version 10.2.x.
Exposure to large migration projects involving workload automation tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in client-facing roles (IBM environment).

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Unix/Linux or Windows environments.
Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation.
Familiarity with enterprise-level scheduling and integration with other systems.

Additional Notes:
This role is strictly for distributed systems and does not involve mainframe (z/OS) workload automation.
Prior experience working on IBM projects or environments will be an added advantage.
