Role: Remedy Specialized Developer
Location: Greenwood Village, CO (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months contract

Job Description:
Responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide Operations Support Systems (OSS) applications and associated operating systems and databases. Supports application administration, system monitoring, integration, and lifecycle management of OSS platforms in a high-availability environment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Support efforts to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
• Coordinate with internal teams to review integration capabilities and proposed solution designs
• Conduct technical design sessions and create detailed functional specifications
• Develop configuration designs for implementation across environments
• Provide work effort estimates for enhancements and bug fixes
• Develop core modules, unit tests, and release documentation
• Install, configure, administer, and maintain OSS applications and related systems
• Provide on-call support for after-hours issue resolution
• Follow established change management procedures to minimize customer impact
• Work with database teams to configure and maintain databases
• Document system configurations and upgrades
• Design and implement change control policies and disaster recovery plans
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to restore functionality during outages
• Monitor application performance, device availability, system reliability, and storage resources

Required Qualifications

• Availability to support a 24x7 operations environment
• Strong understanding of RedHat Linux (configuration, operation, tuning, troubleshooting)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct design sessions and create detailed documentation
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for application and system issues
• Knowledge of development tools, application frameworks, and testing tools
• Strong understanding of OSS platforms and systems engineering lifecycle
• Experience with change management processes
• Knowledge of network and systems concepts including enterprise storage, compute, and virtualization platforms

• 3+ years System Administration experience

• 3+ years Enterprise Application Integration experience

• Experience supporting large messaging systems and distributed storage
• Strong knowledge of messaging system operations and troubleshooting
• Experience with network/system management tools
• Familiarity with Perl and shell scripting
• Understanding of anti-spam best practices
• Experience supporting enterprise email platforms and MTA products
