Client: Product-Based Company (Market & Media Analytics Platform)
Location: Remote (Must work in PST hours)

Position Overview

We are hiring a Senior Data Scientist to work with a leading product company building a complex market analysis platform for large enterprise clients in the Media/Marketing domain.

This role combines advanced analytics, experimentation, and client-facing consulting, focusing on driving insights from large-scale datasets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead measurement initiatives and define KPIs aligned to marketing objectives

  • Design and implement analytics frameworks, tools, and scalable models

  • Perform observational analytics & experimental design (A/B testing, RCTs)

  • Work with large-scale, multi-dimensional datasets for insights and optimization

  • Provide consulting to clients and internal teams on audience strategy and measurement

  • Translate complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations

  • Build and present data-driven storytelling for stakeholders

  • Collaborate with product & engineering teams for platform enhancements

  • Drive campaign optimization and performance improvements


Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years (Bachelor’s) / 3+ years (Master’s) / 0–2 years (PhD) in Data Science or related field

  • Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and experimentation

  • Expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark

  • Experience with Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn

  • Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing & Spark optimization

  • Strong understanding of A/B testing, RCTs, and marketing analytics (AdTech/MarTech)

  • Experience with AWS / Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms

  • Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


Preferred Experience

✔ Experience in Media / Marketing Analytics domain
✔ Client-facing consulting experience
✔ Experience working on product-based analytics platforms
✔ Strong storytelling and presentation skills
