Location -Lakeland, FL onsite
Monday -Friday 8-5
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS: May occasionally drive a state vehicle to other Client sights in the Central Region (Polk, Highlands, Hardee) during emergencies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
In this job you will have a very wide range of responsibilities. The following are some of the things you can expect to do in your day to day with General Services.

You are the first person and many times the only representative that many staff will see of General Services, therefore it is important that you conduct yourself and your business in a courteous respectful manner.

This is a responsible position, and you are expected to be able to work independently, and to keep your supervisor and team leaders informed of situations and to report updates accordingly.

These are many of the duties you will perform at General Services, and you will find that you will do many things that aren t listed here. If you have an open mind and can manage your time, this job can be very rewarding, and you will be working with the best DCF team in the state. HAVE FUN!

  • Conduct routine site inspections across multiple locations to ensure facilities, equipment, and safety standards are fully compliant with policies and operational requirements.
  • Identify, report, and promptly address maintenance, safety hazards, or operational issues to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
  • Verify functionality of essential systems such as lighting, HVAC, and infrastructure, ensuring optimal working conditions for staff.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and communicate findings with relevant teams for timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.
