Looking for an Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Lead/Architect with strong AEP, HTML/CSS email template development, customer journey orchestration, CRM integrations, and email deliverability expertise.

Main Responsibilities

1. Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)

  • Design and build customer journeys in AJO.
  • Create personalized customer experiences based on user behavior and events.
  • Integrate AJO with:
    • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
    • Salesforce/CRM systems
    • External APIs
  • Set up audience segmentation and journey orchestration.

2. Email Marketing & Deliverability

  • Configure email channels in AJO.
  • Handle:
    • SPF, DKIM, DMARC setup
    • IP warming
    • Email deliverability best practices
  • Create personalized email experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy and email regulations.

3. Email Template Development (Most Important Skill)

  • Build reusable email templates using:
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • Adobe Journey Optimizer Email Designer
  • Create reusable components:
    • Headers
    • Footers
    • CTA buttons
    • Dynamic content blocks
  • Support:
    • Personalization tokens
    • Conditional content
    • Multi-language emails
  • Ensure emails work across:
    • Outlook
    • Gmail
    • Apple Mail
    • Mobile devices

4. Data & Personalization

  • Connect AJO with customer data sources.
  • Enable real-time personalization using:
    • Customer profiles
    • Behavioral triggers
    • Event-based data
  • Work with identity resolution and customer data models.

5. Governance & Standards

  • Create standards for:
    • Templates
    • Naming conventions
    • Customer journeys
  • Build reusable frameworks and best practices.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable.

6. Leadership

  • Work with Marketing, Data Engineering, Product, and UX teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring.
  • Act as the Adobe Journey Optimizer subject matter expert (SME).

Must Have:

  • 10+ years in Digital Marketing Technology or Customer Experience Platforms.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) experience.
  • Strong Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) experience.
  • Strong HTML/CSS email template development experience.
  • Customer journey orchestration experience.
  • CRM integration experience (Salesforce preferred).
  • REST API and data integration knowledge.

Nice to Have:

  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
  • Identity management and consent management experience.
