Job Description Under limited supervision, creates basic to highly complex instrumentation, controls and related systems designs using 3D and 4D drafting programs. Develops basic technical memoranda related to design issues for clients. Prepares preliminary design reports (PDRs) under supervision. Reviews basic to highly complex component level shop drawings. Provides responses to requests for information (RFIs) under supervision. Performs field acceptance testing (FATs) and field inspections.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Engineer of the Instrumentation, Controls, and Automation portion of larger projects.Coordinate I&C activities of projects with the Technical Services Team.Develop/review power distribution 1-lines, SIS/PCS/ESD control systems, Control narratives, Cause and Effect Charts, area classification, control panel drawings, instrumentation specifications, and facility layout.Coordinate, review, and supervise I&C design work done by Engineering contractor
