What You'll Bring:

  • Strong proficiency in instrument and controls engineering, including design, troubleshooting, and implementation
  • Experience with control systems, instrumentation, and automation hardware/software
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of industry standards such as API, IEC, or NEC
  • Prior experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation sectors
  • Familiarity with software tools like AutoCAD, PDMS, or instrumentation modeling programs
  • Knowledge of PLC Programming
  • Cause & Effect drawing creation
  • Understanding of Low and Medium voltage electrical equipment
  • Single Line drawing creation
  • Engineering Management/Project Management

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and controls engineering

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required to project sites
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications or security clearances
  • Availability to work on a flexible schedule, including potential overtime during critical project phases
