Senior Full Stack Developer Payments Platform

Role Summary
We are hiring two (2) Senior Full Stack Developers to support the build out of a new internal payments platform during a critical growth phase. This role will play a key part in designing and delivering backend payment and transaction processing capabilities that will be used enterprise wide. You will contribute directly to reducing third party vendor reliance and shaping a modern payments ecosystem.
In this role, you will focus primarily on backend development while working closely with business stakeholders and technology partners. You will help translate business needs into secure, scalable payment services and actively contribute in an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and build backend payment gateway and transaction processing systems
• Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices deployed on Azure
• Support point of sale and store fulfillment systems connected to payments
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and product demos
• Contribute to internal platform development replacing third party payment providers
• Support reporting and dashboarding related to payments and transaction data
Key Requirements
• 7 + years of professional software engineering experience
• Advanced hands on Java development experience
• Strong background with payment systems, gateways, or processors
• Experience building secure backend systems including authentication and API access
• Proven experience working in high volume transaction processing environments
• Ability to operate effectively in Agile teams and fast moving build phases
• Strong communication skills with comfort leading discussions and demos with business partners
