Frontend Lead (E-commerce CMS)

We are seeking a Frontend Lead with strong experience in headless ecommerce CMS platforms to join our client, for an onsite contract engagement in San Francisco, CA or Frisco, TX. This role focuses on leading frontend and content-platform integrations using Amplience Dynamic Content and Dynamic Media (or similar headless CMS solutions) within a large-scale ecommerce environment.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in content modeling, headless CMS architecture, and API-driven integrations. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-performance digital experiences across multiple channels. Responsibilities include building custom integrations using JavaScript and Node.js, consuming REST and GraphQL APIs, implementing webhooks, troubleshooting CMS-related production issues, and tuning performance in distributed cloud systems.

You will partner with cloud and DevOps teams supporting deployments on Google Cloud Platform while also interacting with AWS and Azure for specific applications. The role requires hands-on experience with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring platforms such as Datadog and Splunk. As a Frontend Lead, you will provide technical guidance, participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, conduct code reviews, and help drive delivery excellence in a fast-paced enterprise retail environment.
