Job Duties:
- Participate in finalizing business requirements to develop a firm understanding of the needs.
- Participate in finalizing functional and technical requirements.
- Document legacy system architecture, as needed.
- Develop strategies to enhance the interoperability of the existing PeopleSoft systems to increase data reliability, streamline workflows, and eliminate duplicate data entry.
- Develop technical solutions to deliver existing and new functionality while reducing the number and complexity of PeopleSoft customizations.
- Develop technical solutions to meet business needs not effectively and efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft.
- Participate in prototype and proof of concept exercises.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the number and complexity of interfaces to PeopleSoft and other applications.
- Document the to-be architecture, taking into consideration state shared services, enterprise standards, and security requirements.
- Participate in the development of project, workstream, and sprint planning to sequence the delivery of system enhancements and new functionality to ITS business owners.
- Develop artifacts required to support software development life cycle standards.
- Develop analyses and other products to support program governance and project management efforts
- Able to work with the reports and presentations on technical analyses and recommendations.
- Able to create Reports and presentations on prototype and proof of concept exercises.
- Able to develop Software development lifecycle (SDLC) artifacts to industry and State standards.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s Degree in Math, Sciences, Engineering, or technical background preferred but not required
- 10 years of relevant experience
- PeopleSoft implementation experience
- Ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies for requirements not efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft configurations.
