Role Description:

· Designs, builds, and maintains the Drupal CMS on Acquia Cloud, including templates, modules, themes, and editor tools.

· Implements both curated and administered content templates; refactors UI controls for reliability and editor usability.

· Ensures all code meets security standards, follows patch/update cycles, and complies with Section 508 requirements.

· Integrates React components and aligns front end code with Akamai caching and asset optimization.

· Coordinates with Akamai WAF tuning, CDN caching rules, and purge logic to support site performance and reliability

· Collaborates with product designers and content strategists to create intuitive, data informed UI/UX aligned with agency guidelines.

Role Requirements:

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree

· Minimum 6 years of experience developing web content in Drupal, Akamai

Must be local to DC/MD/VA for onsite work in Woodlawn, MD

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree
