Pay Rate: $65 - $75/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer specializing in Vulnerability Response (VR) to support vulnerability management initiatives on the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience implementing and customizing the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module, integrating vulnerability scanners, and automating vulnerability remediation workflows across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Development

• Configure and customize ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module to support vulnerability identification, prioritization, remediation, and reporting.

• Design and implement workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations supporting the VR lifecycle.

Integration & Automation

• Integrate ServiceNow VR with external vulnerability scanning tools such as:

  • Qualys

  • Tenable

  • Rapid7

  • Prisma Cloud

• Configure MID Servers, data sources, and API integrations for automated vulnerability data ingestion.

• Develop automation for vulnerability assignment, remediation tracking, and exception management.

CMDB & Platform Configuration

• Ensure accurate correlation of vulnerability data with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery.

• Maintain and enhance integrations with ServiceNow ITSM processes.

Reporting & Analytics

• Create custom dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics indicators to track vulnerability KPIs and trends.

• Provide insights into remediation progress and security posture improvements.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience implementing the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • ServiceNow CMDB

  • Discovery

  • ITSM processes

• Experience integrating vulnerability scanners such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or Prisma Cloud.

• Experience with:

  • JavaScript

  • Glide API

  • Flow Designer

  • REST/SOAP integrations

Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required
