Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade Java applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, messaging systems, and relational databases. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 and Core Java concepts (Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, Streams, JVM).
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Cloud.
• Strong experience designing and developing Microservices architecture.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with SOAP/REST web services.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA and ORM frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS messaging.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, and NexArtifactory.
• Strong knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise Java applications.
• Develop scalable Microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for enterprise integrations.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Integrate applications with cloud services and third-party systems.
• Implement secure coding practices and resolve application vulnerabilities.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.
• Create technical documentation and follow coding standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and API Gateway technologies.
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• AWS Certified Developer Associate or Solutions Architect certification.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Java certification.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare, financial services, insurance, or banking domains.
• Exposure to reactive programming using Spring WebFlux or Reactor.
• Experience with OpenShift or Red Hat Kubernetes platforms.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with security standards such as OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
