IT Recruiter

Location: Remote with occasonal job fairs in the DC metro area 
Type: 6+ month Contract
Compensation: $40.00/HR 
Work Model: Remote – offsite


We're seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support a large government contracting integrator that partners with a variety of federal agencies. This recruiter will support full-cycle recruiting efforts for technical and professional positions, working closely with hiring managers to source, engage, and hire top talent.
This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Fairfax, VA and local hiring events throughout the Washington, DC metro area.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from requisition creation through offer acceptance.
• Support hiring efforts across a broad portfolio of positions, including cleared and uncleared technical, IT, cybersecurity, and business operations roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and recruiting priorities.
• Create and manage requisitions within iCIMS.
• Source, screen, and engage candidates for technical and professional opportunities.
• Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines using job boards, networking, and recruiting tools.
• Track recruiting activity, compensation information, and hiring metrics in spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Support incumbent capture and transition recruiting efforts.
• Attend virtual and in-person hiring events as needed.
• Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Hands-on experience with iCIMS is required.
• Experience recruiting for technical, IT, or government contracting positions.
• Experience using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, ClearanceJobs, or similar platforms.
• Strong candidate engagement and phone screening skills.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance may be required in the future based on project and customer requirements.

• Experience supporting federal civilian or government contractor hiring programs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-driven recruiting tools.
• Knowledge of EEOC guidelines and recruiting best practices.
