Sr. Salesforce Developer

We have a new role – it is a Sr. Salesforce Developer with strong CPQ/QTC experience – it is a fully remote role – this is a Hands-on Developer who is polished – They are looking for someone who has strong AI development skills as well (Claude, ChatGPT, etc). This role was open before, but they changed their requirement to be more hands on.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to oversee and drive successful Salesforce implementations, with a strong emphasis on turning around challenged or underperforming deployments. This role requires deep technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, strong leadership capabilities, and a results-driven mindset to ensure business goals are met through robust, scalable solutions.

We are seeking a Quote-to-Cash (QTC) Architect to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash solutions. This role will focus on Salesforce CPQ and Zuora platforms, with an emphasis on seamless integrations using Worktop. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in architecting scalable QTC systems and can work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Serve as the technical lead on Salesforce implementations, including architecture, design, development, and integration.
  • Assess, troubleshoot, and revitalize underperforming or at-risk Salesforce projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of developers, admins, and business analysts.
  • Ensure technical deliverables meet standards for quality, scalability, and performance.
  • Provide hands-on development support and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and technical dependencies.
  • Translate complex requirements into actionable technical plans.
  • 6 months to start but will be multiyear.
  • Must have excellent communication skills – a lot of interaction with the business side – must be polished.
  • Fully remote but need to be located in EST or CST - PST Does not work.
  • Design and architect end-to-end Quote-to-Cash solutions leveraging Salesforce CPQ and Zuora.
  • Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Develop integration strategies between Salesforce, Zuora, and other systems using Worktop.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define best practices, governance, and technical standards.
  • Provide oversight during implementation to ensure alignment with architectural vision.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration and system design challenges.
  • Mentor and guide project teams in QTC solution best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• • 10+ years of experience with Salesforce development and architecture.
  • Proven track record of leading full-cycle Salesforce implementations.
  • Demonstrated success in turning around troubled Salesforce projects.
  • Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or Technical Architect) are highly preferred.
