Location – Baskin Ridge ,NJ ,Tampa ,FL & Richardson ,TX

Work mode – Client -Hybrid (3 days week)

12+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in Telecom OSS/BSS Architecture, Enterprise Java Development, and Telecom System Integration.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Telecom OSS Java Architect to lead the design, development, and modernization of OSS applications supporting Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance, Inventory Management, Network Operations, and Provisioning platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Telecom OSS domains along with strong hands-on experience in Java-based enterprise application architecture, microservices, cloud technologies, and telecom integrations. This aligns with telecom OSS modernization, API-first architecture, cloud-native services, and data integration capabilities referenced in enterprise telecom architecture materials.

Key Responsibilities

OSS Architecture & Design

• Define end-to-end OSS application architecture and technology roadmap.
• Lead OSS modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to microservices-based architectures.
• Design scalable and highly available OSS solutions for:
  • Service Fulfillment
  • Service Assurance
  • Activation & Provisioning
  • Inventory Management
  • Fault & Performance Management
  • Network Operations

<>Java Solution Architecture

• Architect enterprise-grade Java applications using:
  • Java 17/21
  • Spring Boot
  • Spring Cloud
  • Microservices
  • REST APIs
  • Event-Driven Architecture
• Define API strategy, integration standards, security architecture, and deployment models.
• Establish coding standards, architecture governance, and application performance guidelines.

<>Telecom Integration

• Integrate OSS platforms with:
  • BSS Systems
  • CRM
  • Billing
  • Inventory
  • Order Management
  • Network Inventory
  • EMS/NMS Platforms
• Design TM Forum Open API-based integrations.
• Implement real-time and batch data exchange using enterprise integration patterns. TM Forum, OSS/BSS integration, and telecom ecosystem modernization are highlighted in enterprise telecom architecture references.

<>Cloud & Modernization

• Drive cloud-native transformation initiatives on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Design containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement CI/CD, DevSecOps, and observability frameworks.
• Support migration from legacy OSS environments to cloud-native platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Telecom industry experience with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Vodafone, BT, Rogers, Telus, or similar operators.
• Strong understanding of 4G/5G network architecture.
• Experience with OSS modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
• TOGAF certification preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Engineering.

• AI/ML-based telecom operations automation.
• Network analytics platforms.
• SDN/NFV exposure.
• Kubernetes/OpenShift platform architecture.
• Event-driven OSS and real-time streaming architectures utilizing Kafka and cloud-native services.

Ideal Fit: Senior/Lead Architect with strong Telecom OSS domain expertise, Java microservices architecture experience, and proven delivery experience in large-scale Telco transformation programs.
