Senior Data Scientist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in San Antonio, TX that is hiring a Senior Data Scientist/AI Engineer to support a client-facing analytics and AI initiative while helping build a modern, enterprise-scale Data Science practice.

Responsibilities:
* Build, deploy, and monitor production-grade ML and AI solutions in a Snowflake-centric environment
* Own the end-to-end model lifecycle (development, deployment, monitoring, retraining)
* Develop retention, propensity/gravity models, and AI-driven analytics
* Work with structured and unstructured data, including document/PDF extraction
* Build AI agents using Generative AI techniques to support business users
* Partner directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
* Create dashboards and insights using Tableau or Sigma
* Contribute to enterprise best practices for data science, ML, and model governance

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or AI Engineering
* Strong Python and SQL skills; Hands-on Snowflake experience required
* Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred
* Comfortable working in a small, greenfield team with high ownership
* Proven experience deploying machine learning models into production
* Experience managing the full model lifecycle (development, deployment, monitoring, retraining)
* Hands-on experience with Snowflake as part of an analytics or ML data stack
* Experience building ML/AI solutions using Python in a cloud or Snowflake-centric environment
* Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including document/PDF extraction
* Data visualization experience using Tableau and/or Sigma
* Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and customers
* Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
