The ideal candidate will have strong Human Resources functional experience combined with hands-on knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. Experience with both platforms is highly desirable, as this resource will serve as an important bridge between the client's current PeopleSoft environment and its future Oracle Fusion Cloud solution.

This individual will work closely with the client's HR organization, project team, functional consultants, technical resources, and business stakeholders throughout the transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional HR lead and subject matter expertduring the transition from PeopleSoft HCM to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
• Provide expertise regarding the client's existing PeopleSoft HCM business processes, configuration, data, and integrations.
• Assist with translating current PeopleSoft HR processes and requirements into the future-state Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM environment.
• Work directly with HR stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify requirements, and define future-state business processes.
• Participate in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, process design, configuration reviews, testing, data validation, and deployment activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline or redesign HR processes rather than simply recreating existing PeopleSoft processes in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Assist with mapping PeopleSoft data, terminology, organizational structures, and business processes to corresponding Oracle Fusion Cloud functionality.
• Support data conversion activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Participate in system, integration, and user acceptance testing and help coordinate HR business-user participation.
• Review functional designs and configuration decisions to ensure they appropriately address HR business requirements.
• Assist with identifying and documenting dependencies between HR processes and other HCM areas, including Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Management, and Time and Labor.
• Support change management, training, knowledge transfer, cutover, and post-deployment activities.
• Serve as a liaison between HR business users and the Oracle Fusion implementation team.
• Help ensure continuity of critical HR operations while the organization transitions from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience working in a Human Resources functional leadership or HRIS/HCM functional role.
• Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM, particularly Core HR/Workforce Administration.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, preferably Core HR/Global Human Resources.
• Experience participating in an HCM implementation, migration, transformation, or major upgrade project.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes, employee lifecycle management, organizational structures, jobs/positions, employee data, and HR transactions.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, functional design, testing, and data validation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into HCM system requirements and communicate effectively with both functional and technical resources.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed project team.
