  • Coordinate closely with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to support integrated project delivery.
  • Support construction administration activities including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and participating in field observations.
  • Communicate design concepts and technical solutions with project teams and clients.
  • Utilize industry-standard structural analysis software to support design development.
  • Work collaboratively within project teams to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of technical standards and design practices.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and applicable design standards.
  • Knowledge of structural systems, seismic and wind design considerations, construction materials, and construction practices.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RAM, or RISA.
  • Experience using Revit for structural modeling and coordination preferred.
  • Experience with seismic analysis or retrofit design is considered an asset.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience in building design or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
