Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator(Security)

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to manage, monitor, and support SAP landscapes. ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, The performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP systems across environments.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
Perform system refreshes, client copies, and transport management (STMS)
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
Manage SAP upgrades, patches, and kernel updates
Handle user administration and security (roles, authorizations)
Work with DB teams (HANA/Oracle/SQL Server) for database support
Perform system health checks and troubleshoot issues proactively
Manage backup and recovery processes
Support SAP migrations and cloud initiatives (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
Coordinate with functional and technical teams for issue resolution

Required Skills

Strong experience in SAP Basis Administration
Hands-on with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA database
Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager
Knowledge of OS (Linux/Unix/Windows)
Experience in system monitoring tools and performance tuning
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with transport management and system landscapes

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) / Disaster Recovery (DR)
Experience in SAP security and GRC
Automation/scripting knowledge (Shell, Python)
SAP certifications (Basis / HANA)

Experience

5+ years of SAP Basis experience
Experience in enterprise-level SAP environments preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Nice to Have

Experience with SAP Fiori and Gateway
Exposure to DevOps practices
Experience with SAP upgrades/migrations (ECC to S/4HANA)

Soft Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team collaboration and ownership mindset
