Palo Alto NGFW Migration Engineer ( Fortinet to PANW specifically ) - on assignment with Palo Alto Networks

 
- Deploy, migrate, and optimize Palo Alto Networks security infrastructure. Primary focus: migrating enterprise customers from competitor firewalls (Fortinet) to Palo Alto NGFWs.
- Migrate firewall policies/objects from legacy platforms to Palo Alto NGFW (automation/scripting preferred)
- Configure, scale, and maintain Palo Alto Security Operating Platform
- Deploy and optimize Panorama and log collector architecture
- Validate migration environments, execute production cutovers
- Manage code upgrades and develop custom app/threat signatures
- Interface with TAC for escalations and complex support cases
- Coordinate with customer security/network teams throughout implementation

Required Experience :

- Proven track record migrating enterprise environments from Fortinet solutions to Palo Alto NGFWs
- Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager (SCM), GlobalProtect
