Detailed Job Description:

We are looking for an experience ETL Data Engineer with Snowflake.

 

Job Responsibilities:       

·         Design, develop, and support scalable ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.

·         Build and maintain dbt models, including incremental models and snapshots.

·         Develop, write, and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and reporting.

·         Develop data engineering solutions using Python.

·         Design and implement effective data models aligned with business and application requirements.

·         Implement data quality checks, validation, and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues and pipeline failures.

·         Perform Snowflake warehouse performance tuning and optimization to improve efficiency and manage resource utilization.

·         Collaborate with business analysts, application teams, and other stakeholders to deliver trusted and reliable data products.

·         Support data engineering best practices around data quality, governance, and compliance.

·         Participate in CI/CD and DataOps practices for reliable deployment and management of data pipelines.

·         Develop and maintain technical documentation for pipelines, models, transformations, and data processes.

·         Continuously identify opportunities to improve pipeline performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Must Have Skills:

·         Snowflake

·         DBT

·         3SQL, Python, Data Engineering, Data Modeling

Nice-to-Have Skill

·         Fivetran

·         AWS experience, especially S3, Lambda, IAM, Glue, CloudWatch, EventBridge, and cloud-native data services.

·         Apache Airflow, Dagster, or similar orchestration experience
